Mocha Sisters Organization will host its 1st annual national conference in Dallas, Texas from August 3-5, 2007. The theme of the conference will be “Ladies First.”
The conference will feature seminars, workshops, and vendors. The keynote speaker will be National bestselling author Dr. Monica “Moe” Anderson, a motivational speaker, publisher, and Doctor of Dental Surgery. Her latest release is her debut novel, When A Sistah's Fed Up, She has also authored two non-fiction books: Black English Vernacular and Mom, Are We There Yet? Her short stories and poetry are included in several anthologies.
The cost of the conference will include complimentary continental breakfast, lunch, ground transportation to some activities, admission to some workshops, and featured seminar, vendor exhibits, pen, and registration gift packets.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy various activities, which will including shopping, Amusement/Theme/Water Parks, bowling, social local events.
